Activity 1: Front-of-the-Mouth Sounds
Target Sounds: P, B, and M
These sounds are produced by using the lips and are usually the earliest milestones mastered by toddlers. Instructions: Have your child touch each box, make the isolated sound three times (example: p-p-p), and then read the target word aloud.
Activity 2: The Slow Turtle Sound Game
Target Sound: Steady Air Flow (S and SH Sounds)
Instructions: Slide your finger slowly along the path text while holding out the sound continuously. Do not stop the airflow until you reach the end of the line. This helps children who drop final consonants or rush through sound blends.

Keep the tongue inside behind your front teeth like a small cage.

Activity 3: Secret Sound Scavenger Hunt
Target Sound Tracking: Velar Sounds (K and G)
Velar sounds are made at the back of the mouth with the back of the tongue hitting the soft palate. Instructions: Walk around your home together and search for these exact objects. When found, have your child repeat the name three times while focusing on pulling their tongue back.
