    At Polariz.org, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to communicate, connect, and thrive.

    We are a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering neurodiverse children and supporting the families, educators, and professionals who walk alongside them every day. Through accessible communication support, inclusive education, and compassionate technology, we aim to make developmental resources more available to children across all backgrounds and communities.

    Polariz was founded with a simple belief: support should not begin and end inside a therapy session. Families deserve guidance, encouragement, and tools that fit naturally into everyday life — at home, in school, and within their communities.

    Our mission is to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity by helping neurodiverse children build confidence, communication, and meaningful connections in a way that respects every child’s unique learning journey.

      Co-Founder & Builder

      Pree Nair

      Pree Nair brings over 10 years of experience in software development, technology, speech coaching and childhood development. With a passion for making speech coaching accessible to everyone, Pree founded Polariz to leverage AI technology in creating personalized learning experiences for children with special needs.

      Pree holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University. She has also developed cutting-edge server-side applications across medical and finance domains. Her passion for building technology to serve medical professionals and patients began as a software engineer at Kaiser Permanente.

      CTO & AI Expert

      Jay Pillai

      Jay Pillai is a hands-on technical engineering leader passionate about solving mission-critical problems using artificial intelligence. As Director of AI and Engineering at Figma, Jay built cutting-edge AI features for designers and developers. Previously at Apple, Jay's teams drove billions in revenue through AI features in iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, and in Apple apps including Camera, Photos, iMessage, and Maps.

      At Google DeepMind and Google Research, Jay trained large AI/ML models for server-side applications and latency-sensitive on-device use cases. Jay completed his Ph.D. at the University of Maryland, College Park, under Prof. Rama Chellappa, with research focused on robust algorithms for object classification, detection, and human recognition. His work has been published in CVPR and PAMI.

          Larin is a California speech-language pathologist with 20 years of experience in early childhood and preschool special education. She has supported students with autism, hearing loss, cochlear implants, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and language or articulation delays, and she has led district representation and nationwide professional development for educators.

        • Rachel Altorfer

          Rachel is a certified speech-language pathologist with 17+ years of experience supporting children and families. She provides engaging teletherapy that builds confident communication skills and partners closely with parents to share practical strategies that help children thrive academically and socially using her experience and education to help children with speech therapy.

        • Natasha Chahande

          Natasha is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologist dedicated to helping individuals of all ages overcome challenges in speech, language, hearing, and communication. Over 15 years, she has worked extensively with children with developmental speech and language delays, adults with communication difficulties, and individuals with hearing loss.
